Pressure sensor for operation theatre in hospitals

Similar to isolation wards, operation theatres also require a differential pressure. Operation theatre will have a slightly positive pressure. This is to ensure that when the patient is vulnerable to infections, outside air should not contaminate the air inside.

Pressure sensor for Airborne infection isolation (AII) rooms

As an example, an isolation ward in a hospital will be a negative pressure room. The pressure is always slightly lower than the outside areas. In this case, the bacteria inside the room will not go to the outside of the room.

Negative pressure monitoring sensor system

Our control panel will constantly show the pressure difference between the rooms. In case the pressure difference reduces, the system will generate an alert.

Positive pressure monitoring sensors

The air inside the CSSD room may go out of the room, but not vice versa. In case the air pressure inside the CSSD room becomes equal to the outside air pressure, it is an alarm condition.

Differential Room Pressure recording connected to BMS

We can connect our differential room pressure monitoring system to a central recording system. If you want to record only pressure separately it is possible.

Isolation room monitoring and alerts

It is mandatory to keep the negative pressure inside an isolation ward. This means pressure in this room should be lower than that of outside rooms to prevent infected air from entering into other areas.

The system automatically checks the pressure inside the isolation room and alerts it which is great for the hospitals. The system provided by Vacker has been a support for us.
